Welcome to the Campaigns & Elections section of VoteForBusiness.com.

We're currently updating this section so that voters in states holding off-year elections can get all the information they need to cast an informed ballot. While we update those areas, you can still use our tools to register to vote and to learn about your state's rules for early and absentee voting.

According to the Pew Research Center, the Internet became a major source of campaign news for voters in 2004. Overall, 41% of voters say they got at least some of their news about the 2004 election online. Further, 21% relied on the Internet for most of their election news - nearly double the number in 2000 (11%). Perhaps most importantly, 1 in 5 voters say they were impacted by e-mails they received about the elections and the candidates running.

Collectively, we saw these numbers play out firsthand as VoteForBusiness proved to be extremely successful during the 2004 elections. With the help of our 409 partners, we exceeded all of our objectives. The successes we enjoyed on Election Day were a direct reflection of the time and energy that were put into educating and energizing employees. All told, the Chamber and its partners using the VoteForBusiness program communicated with just over 40 million Americans by November 2.
